EU Blue Card
The most popular route for Indian IT and engineering professionals. Requires a recognised degree and a job offer above the salary threshold.
Student Visa
Study at any German university with a student visa. Germany has no tuition fees at public universities. You can work 120 full days or 240 half days per year.
Family Reunion Visa
Bring your spouse and minor children to Germany. Spouse must demonstrate A1 German language level unless your partner holds an EU Blue Card.
Permanent Residence (Niederlassungserlaubnis)
After 4–5 years of legal residence in Germany, you can apply for permanent residence. EU Blue Card holders may qualify after just 33 months (21 months with B1 German).
